Space-Time Vortex

Time and space, according to Einstein's theories of relativity, are woven together, forming a four-dimensional fabric called "space-time." The tremendous mass of Earth dimples this fabric, much like a heavy person sitting in the middle of a trampoline. Gravity, says Einstein, is simply the motion of objects following the curvaceous lines of the dimple.

NASA has announced the results of an epic physics experiment which confirms the reality of a space-time vortex around our planet:

Life May Have Started On Mars Before Arriving On Earth

New research supports an idea that the Red Planet was a better place to kick-start biology billions of years ago than the early Earth was.

The evidence is based on how the first molecules necessary for life were assembled. The evidence seems to be building that we are actually all Martians; that life started on Mars and came to Earth on a rock”Details of the theory were outlined by Prof Steven Benner at the Goldschmidt Meeting in Florence, Italy.

Scientists have long wondered how atoms first came together to make up the three crucial molecular components of living organisms: RNA, DNA and proteins.

The molecules that combined to form genetic material are far more complex than the primordial "pre-biotic" soup of organic (carbon-based) chemicals thought to have existed on the Earth more than three billion years ago, and RNA (ribonucleic acid) is thought to have been the first of them to appear.

Simply adding energy such as heat or light to the more basic organic molecules in the "soup" does not generate RNA. Instead, it generates tar.RNA needs to be coaxed into shape by "templating" atoms at the crystalline surfaces of minerals.

The minerals most effective at templating RNA would have dissolved in the oceans of the early Earth, but would have been more abundant on Mars, according to Prof Benner.

Water Discovered On Mars By NASA`s Rover Curiosity

The first scoop of soil analysed by the analytical suite in the belly of NASA`s curiosity rover reveals that fine materials on the surface of the planet contain several percent water by weight.

The result were published in Science as one article in a five-paper special section on the curiosity mission.

About 2 percent of the soil on the surface of Mars is made up of water, which is great resource, and intresting scientifically." The sample also released significant carbon dioxide, oxygen and sulfur compounds when heated.

The BMW C Evolution Electric Scooter

The BMW C Evolution electric scooter has been presented in final production guise at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany.

It can be considered as an electric alternative to the C 600 Sport and C 650 GT maxi scooters powered by a liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor which has a rated output of 15 HP (11 kW) and a peak output of 47 HP (35 kW) and 53 lb-ft (72 Nm). It will do 0-31 mph (0-50 km/h) in 2.7 seconds and 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.2 seconds before topping out at 75 mph (120 km/h).

Thanks to an 8 kWh air-cooled lithium-ion battery pack, the BMW C Evolution has a range of up to 62 miles (100 km) before running out of juice. Once this happens, the battery can be recharged in approximately four hours from a 220V domestic socket with a 12A charge current or in three hours with a 16A charge current.

The driver gets to choose from four ride modes (Road, Eco Pro, Sail, Dynamic) and benefits from a generous TFT color display providing all the relevant information. The C Evolution also boasts LED daytime running lights which will automatically dim to double as the sidelight. It comes with heated handlebar grips and Torque Control Assist (TCA) which will limit the motor's torque based on the rear wheel's slip.
